Goalie Interference

Goalie Interference follows Ander Bouchard and Nikolai Ivanov, two professional hockey goalies playing for rival NHL teams. Ander is the cheerful, outgoing star of the Buffalo Blizzards, while Nikolai is the quiet and disciplined goalie for the St. Louis Mules. Their teams have just faced each other in the Stanley Cup Final, with Ander’s Blizzards defeating the Mules. Although Ander celebrates his second championship, Nikolai blames himself for allowing the goal that decided the series. The two men properly meet during Ander’s day with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of Green Bay. Nikolai arrives with several Mules players, including Ander’s younger brother Brandon and Brandon’s boyfriend, Ryan. Ander is surprised by how attractive he finds Nikolai and becomes curious about the reserved Russian goalie. Nikolai, who is used to criticism and emotional distance, is equally fascinated by Ander’s warmth and effortless friendliness. Nikolai is anxious about his future with the Mules.
