I’m Your Guy

I’m Your Guy follows Tommaso DiCosta, a professional hockey player for the Colorado Cougars, and Carter Flynn, an interior designer struggling to keep his business alive. Tommaso has recently bought a large house in Boulder, but he has no furniture and little idea how to make it feel like a home. Carter desperately needs a well-paying client after his former boyfriend and business partner, Macklin, abandoned both him and their failing company. They meet when Tommaso helps Carter avoid trouble with a police officer and then asks for his business card. Tommaso hires Carter to furnish and decorate the entire house before Christmas, when his mother is coming to visit. The job could save Carter from bankruptcy, so he throws himself into it despite finding Tommaso intimidating, stubborn and extremely attractive. Tommaso initially presents himself as a private, serious man who dislikes discussing personal preferences. Carter gradually discovers that his behaviour comes from years of emotional abuse.
